The purpose of the System of Identification and Personification of Visitors of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana city:

• automation of the identification process and registration of visitors for efficient safety control of the large international event.

The object of automation:

• registration and identification of the EXPO-2017 visitors for screening checking lists formed by law-enforcement and special State Entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  

Applying the System:

• A Mode (terrorism threat level is not higher than «yellow») – selective registration of visitors is conducted (nearby exhibitions, kiosks at entrances «ACCESSCONTROL»);
  
• B Mode (terrorism threat level is higher than «yellow») – 100% registration of visitors at entrances is conducted.
  

System Automated Workstations (AWS):

AWS «Identification-Registration» (for Windows)

• registration of visitors of the exhibition (on a stationary device);
  
• forming of visitors database.
  

Registration process:

• a provided document is scanned by a device scanning a swipe zone data on a document, contactless chip (FRID) and information on validity of a document (checking of a swipe zone checksum, document image in ultraviolet and infrared light, etc.);
  
• display form fields are automatically filled by data received from a scanner;
  
• filled data are compared to a visitor’s document;
  
• received data are sent to a server.
  

SAWS (Stationary Automated Workstation) «Identification-Registration» (for Android)

• registration of visitors of the exhibition (on a mobile device);
  
• forming of visitors database.
  

Registration process:

• camera of a mobile device is used for scanning of a document;
• display form fields are automatically filled by data received from a camera;
  
• filled data are compared to a visitor’s document;
  
• received data are sent to a server.
  

AWS «Identification-List»

• search by control lists of individuals and documents;
  
• forming and editing of control lists;
  
• forming of statistical reports on visitor lists of the event;
  
• automated verification of a visitor data by control lists.
